Palermo's attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez leads as the top dribbler in Europe's domestic season so far with 86, of which 50 have been successful.StatsPac
The 26-year-old Italian, who has been man of the match in two of his 12 appearances for Palermo this season in the Serie A, has one goal and four assists. He takes about three shots on goal per game, accompanied by at least two key passes.
Often playing in the centre or at right of midfielder, and occasionally in the forward position, Vazquez helped Palmero to climb into the Serie A after winning Serie B at the end of the 2014 season.
The Italian, who prefers his left foot and was born in Argentina, netted 10 goals and chipped in with 10 assists last season for Rosanero.
Vazquez has been such a key player for Palermo that club president Walter Zamparini issued a hands-off warning just last week when reports noted that AC Milan would try to lure him in January when the winter transfer window opens.
Zamp insists that Vazquez will stay until the summer.
