Stay with Gunners

The Gunners have the edge over City

By Paul Burrowes

Manchester City entertain Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 8.
The Citizens have yet to beat the Gunners in their last four Premier League match-ups, with two draws and two losses.
Arsenal have also been unbeaten in their last eight EPL games and their last four away games, a record that stand them in good stead against Manchester City.
If there is any consolation for Manuel Pellegrini's men is that they have scored 45 goals at home compared to Arsenal’s 32 goals away. City have also won 12 and drew one of 18 games played at home, while Arsenal won eight and drew six of 18 matches away.
A 2-2 draw beckons for this match, with Arsenal scoring first and Frenchman Olivier Giroud featuring early in the encounter, as Sergio Aguero turns it up for the Citizens.
But Theo Walcott has scored three goals in the last two premier league appearances against Manchester City.
And it is true that City’s win percentage against Arsenal in the Premier League is 16%, the lowest against any opponent in the history of the competition.
For Manchester City, eyes should also be Kelechi Iheanacho, whose 86.9 minutes per goal rate is the highest in the league history for any player scoring three or more goals.
